Omar Carino

Omar Cariño, an AISS and Segerstrom High School Class of 2017 alumnus, earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Boston University in 2021. He went on to teach high school mathematics and coach volleyball at the historic Boston Latin School, the oldest public school in the United States.

Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management at the University of San Francisco, Omar brings both academic and athletic leadership to his work. He joined AISS as an advisor in December 2023 and now serves as the lead instructor for the Class of 2026 cohort, where he guides scholars through academic development, mentorship, and college preparation.
