Karla Ramirez

Karla Perez Ramirez is a proud member of the AISS Class of 2009 and a graduate of Century High School. She earned three associate degrees from Santa Ana College before completing her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach in 2015.

While pursuing her education, Karla served as a math instructor for AISS, reflecting her early passion for mentorship and STEM education. She later co-founded Tera Engineering with her husband, engineer Sean Ramirez, and currently serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing production, personnel, and day-to-day operations of the company.

Karla is also the Marketing Manager for AISS, where she hopes to use her business and industry experience to support the growth of the program and empower the next generation of STEM leaders. She continues to give back by offering factory tours and internships to AISS scholars.
