Mario Avalos, Segerstrom High School
Mario transferred to UCLA from Santa Ana College after his sophomore year. He hopes to attend medical school right after he receives his Bachelor's degree. In high school, Mario was also a part of the Simons Scholar program and helped his church do community service on the weekends. He had a 3.5 GPA.
Zuleima Avalos, Saddleback High School
Zuleima graduated from UC San Diego in 2015 with a degree in Anthropology. During high school, she had a 4.25 GPA. She was involved in AVID, EAOP, and MESA at school.
Kevin Chavez, Segerstrom High School
Kevin currently attends Santa Ana College. He aspires to be a Mechanical Engineer. In high school, he carried a 3.6 GPA. Kevin is a natural puzzle solver and was highly regarded by his high school teachers. He particularly stood out in Honors Chemistry.

Karla graduated from CSU Long Beach in 2015 with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Biological Engineering. During her time at Santa Ana High School, she carried a 4.381 GPA. Karla was one of the top scholars her AISS class, demonstrating a keen intellect and involvement. She also volunteers at the Boys & Girls Club.

Brenda graduated from CSU Long Beach with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology. During high school, she carried a 4.5 GPA. She was involved in Choir, the Book Club and did community service at Sepulveda Elementary School.

Violeta graduated in 2015 from California Lutheran University with two degrees, Psychology and Spanish. In high school, she was known for her infectious smile that she shared with everyone. At Century high school she held a 4.3 GPA. She was also involved with the Track and Field team.

Jessica attended Mills College. While in high school, she maintained a GPA of 3.97. She was also involved with Model UN.

Lisette graduated from Chapman University in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. While at Saddleback High School, she carried a 4.3 GPA. She was involved in Basketball, Red Cross Club, CSF and Academic Talent Search.

Sebastian graduated in 2015 from Columbia University with a degree in Math. In high school, he had a 4.67 GPA. He was involved in Peer Tutoring for the California Scholarship Federation, President of the Godinez Book Club, and was a member of the Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement Program.

Maria graduated from UCLA in 2015 with a degree in Math in Applied Science. She currently plans to attend medical school in order to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. At Santa Ana High School, she carried a 4.22 GPA. Maria stood out in her AISS class. She was involved with the Red Cross Club, Dance Production Team, and Saint Joseph Ballet.

Jasmine graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015 with a degree in Pharmaceutical Science. While in college, she worked as a research assistant at Energy Biosciences Institute. She is currently working at Equilar as a research analyst. In high school she maintained a 4.67 GPA. She useed to volunteer at Fountain Valley Hospital in the Childrens Ward. Jasmine used to also teach piano in her free time. She was involved in various prorams, such asthe MESA Program, ACE and CSF.
