Karla founded Tera Engineering Co. with her husband after graduating from CSLB. The mechanical engineering and design business. Now has 30 employees and is growing. Karla has served as a mentor and instructor to AISS scholars since graduating, even giving tours of Tera Engineering to AISS cohorts. As of 2020, she now serves on AISS' Board on the Marketing Committee. Her goal is to grow a successful business that will allow her to make a positive impact not just in her community, but in the world as well.
